Glasses go in and out of style--at least fickle fashion style. They will continue to have the practicality card in their favor. My eyes love them. Now seems to be the best time to find good ones (style) and cheap or free--more on that later--ones (practical) everywhere you look. Currently at the top of WWD's and Seattle-ites (from what I can see and I can see a lot) hit lists:
Warby Parker, Lookmatic, Classic Specs and Eyefly. My favorite is the dip-die--in glasses...and in blouses.
Don't ever forget: If you can rock a monocle (ala Winona Ryder in "Heathers") don't hesitate to do so.
Oh right--free stuff. Apparently on Coastal.com your first pair of glasses (with restrictions of course) is free! Even if it's not your style back-up glasses never hurt anyone.
