Marni at H+M: Upon further inspection this wasn't a good move for a well established brand. Taking a great reputation to the masses seems like such a good idea (reaching more people...trickle down movement...cash money...etc) and I think that it is--for young designers establishing themselves and need to get their name out there fast. Many who went to H+M today were met by empty racks, frazzled employees, acrylic, plastic bags, and sweater-stealers (this is true--the said sweater was in my hand originally). Not the Marni that my mind conjures up.
